After her musical journeys deep into the Japanese (Haiku) and Lusitanian (Sobremesa) sounds, this time Anna Maria Jopek sings in Polish with the Cubans. Minione brings back to life the most charming pre-war Polish tangos. AMJ sings with one of the greatest improvising pianist of our times, fantastic Gonzalo Rubalcaba and his jazz trio. Among hundreds of old tangos and boleros, both leading musicians chose the songs that inspired them most, such as: Rebeca or Your Lips Lie. Those pieces are a bridge between the world of the thirties of the past century and present vocal music. They also merge various cultures: Polish, Cuban, Jewish, Argentinian and American. "When I work with artists who come from musical backgrounds different to mine, I'm always delighted by their diversity. Everything that they bring in to the recording enriches me spiritually. I'm amazed of the immensity of beauty and truth on the crossroads of cultures and human sensibility. Music is the language of unity" - says AMJ. "Working on those old tangos was pure magic. Rarely can you come across the material of such charm, intense melancholy, mystery and eroticism. Recording with Gonzalo was sheer mysticism. The presence of 'being' in every note teaches you to be carefully attentive and humble." Minione is arranged and produced by Gonzalo Rubalcaba. The highest audiophile sound quality of the recording is the merit of the Grammy Award winner Carlos Alvarez, made in the legendary Hit Factory Criteria Miami.

Has fit perfectly into my morning espresso

This seems to me to be an excellent small kitchen scale. I am new to the complexities of espresso making and have begun using this scale every morning to measure my dose and output. It is working just fine. Easy to operate, keep clean and store. I did not give it 5 stars because I have limited comparisons but I don’t expect and will not bother looking for anything better.

Perfectly fits what I needed for my espresso habit!

This Maestri House mini coffee scale is a great little tool for espresso and pour-over. The size is compact enough to fit under a portafilter or cup, and the 0.1g accuracy makes dialing in coffee much easier. I like the built-in timer, rechargeable USB-C battery, and clean black-and-silver look. It feels precise, practical, and easy to keep near the espresso machine. Great value for anyone who wants more consistent coffee.

Maestro House Mini Coffee Scale
I have begun to drink tea, pu’erh tea to be specific. I have several varieties and I have had a problem with getting consistent results. The varieties can be very different in size depending on when the leaves are harvested (leaves harvested in spring are much smaller). So the easiest way to get consistent results is by weight. This scale is very easy to use with a ceramic tea scoop, set the tea scoop on the scale, zero it out and add tea leaves. This has made my results much better, without the wild swings in strength I had been getting before trying to eyeball even measures. This scale gives me accurate measurements to one tenth of a gram.

Mostly great, except one little annoyance

Pros- lightweight, small, very accurate, easy to clean, timer included.
Cons- I use this to brew espresso on my Breville Touch and to get an accurate reading, you have to place something flat (structured) under the scale. Otherwise the reading just jumps all over the place. I know lot of espresso machines have the same base, so this might be an issue for some!
This is my reason for 4/5 stars. It’s an easy fix, it’s just kind of annoying. Value for the price seems to be on point. It’s easy to clean. It has a timer as well as scale (nice for espresso). Buttons work the first time you push them.

A solid upgrade!

This coffee tamper has been such a nice upgrade to my espresso routine. It has a solid, balanced weight that makes tamping feel smooth and effortless, and the textured grip gives it a really comfortable, secure feel in hand. There’s something satisfying about how neatly it presses down the coffee grounds—like it was made to fit perfectly.
Since I started using it, my shots have been more consistent, with a beautiful crema and better flavor overall. If you’re looking for a tamper that’s simple, well-made, and does its job really well, this one’s definitely worth it.
