More than fifty years ago, Thomas Szasz showed that the concept of mental illness--a disease of the mind--is an oxymoron, a metaphor, a myth. Disease, in the medical sense, affects only the body. He also demonstrated that civil commitment and the insanity defense, the paradigmatic practices of psychiatry, are incompatible with the political values of personal responsibility and individual liberty. The psychiatric establishment's rejection of Szasz's critique posed no danger to his work: its defense of coercions and excuses as "therapy" supported his argument regarding the metaphorical nature of mental illness and the transparent immorality of brutal psychiatric control masquerading as humane medical care.
In the late 1960s, the launching of the so-called antipsychiatry movement vitiated Szasz's effort to present a precisely formulated conceptual and political critique of the medical identity of psychiatry. Led by the Scottish psychiatrist R. D. Laing, the antipsychiatrists used the term to attract attention to themselves and to deflect attention from what they did, which included coercions and excuses based on psychiatric principles and power. For this reason, Szasz rejected, and continues to reject, psychiatry and antipsychiatry with equal vigor. Subsuming his work under the rubric of antipsychiatry betrays and negates it just as surely and effectively as subsuming it under the rubric of psychiatry. In Antipsychiatry: Quackery Squared, Szasz powerfully argues that his writings belong to neither psychiatry nor antipsychiatry. Amazing
Before this, my favorite body wash was sage and citrus. Not just for cremo, any body wash. Amazing body wash for the entire line, so any scent you choose, you won't be disappointed. Lathers well, rinses off well enough after some scrubbing (good because it gives you a chance to exfoliate and scrub) but stays clung to your skin for a moisturized and cologned feeling.
Italian bergamot is better than sage and citrus. smells like cologne, smells like a night out.
I was hesitant to buy because idk what berhmot, vetiver, etc smell like, but now I do.
Good value for the size. First shower, I used like 5 or 6 pumps just to really get to know it, but I bet 3 is good for most people.

Clean, Fresh, and Confidence Boosting
It has a really clean and calming scent that stands out without being overpowering like other body washes. The smell is less chemical per se. The bergamot gives off a sense of serenity while still making you feel fresh and put together. It lathers well and leaves you feeling genuinely clean after every shower.
What I liked most is that the scent actually sticks around throughout the day. Catching a hint of it later on gave me a small boost of confidence and that “I’ve got myself together” feeling. Definitely a good value for its worth.

Leaves skin clean without drying it out
I am so glad I switched over to this body wash! It lathers really well while using it and a little bit goes a long way and makes the big bottle it comes in last a long time. I also really appreciate how it comes with a pump on the bottle, which makes it easy to use and is a huge selling point for me.
I have not noticed any leftover residue on my skin after using it, and it rinses off well. My skin does not feel tight or dry after using it, which is nice because I shower daily.
It has a pleasant smell, and it isn’t super overpowering or overwhelming. It gives that “just showered” feeling and leaves you feeling nice and clean. I also like how affordable it is, and with such a big bottle I think it is worth the value of this body wash.
