ACT's 6-pad, spring-centered race disc features a spring-center to properly damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions. ACT spring retainers utilize wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. Comfy but wear quickly

These are perfect for every-day wear and i find them super comfortable. Mine are starting to tear and fall apart, which is more quickly than my other underwear, but I think its worth it for the price and comfortableness. I'll just replace them or repair them :)
