Kaiken Ultra Malbec is lekker bij gegrild vlees en bij rijpe kazen en Hachee en Barbecue.  Hij is perfect om te drinken bij een feestelijk diner of als aperitief.

Over de wijn

Kaiken Ultra Malbec is gemaakt van Malbec druiven afkomstig van drie wijngaarden op grote hoogte, tussen 1200 en 1600 meter. Handmatige oogst en selectie van de druiven in maart en april. De malolactische gisting vond op natuurlijke wijze plaats in de betonnen tanks. Rijping in Franse eiken vaten (1/3 nieuw, 1/3 tweede gebruik, 1/3 derde gebruik) gedurende 12 maanden, vervolgens 6 maanden rijping in de fles alvorens te worden vrijgegeven.

Deze wijn, met een intens diepe, donkere rode kleur, heeft een expressieve, maar niet overdreven neus waarin tonen van zwarte bes, bramen, koffie en tabak te vinden zijn. De aanzet is krachtig en geeft een licht zoete impressie, die overgaat en een rijkdom aan smaken ondersteund door rijpe tannines. De afdronk is lang waarbij vooral de smaak van kruiden en vanille aanwezig is.
