Appearance
Deep ruby red with garnet hues, displaying the wine's concentration and maturity from 18 months of oak maturation.
Aroma
Classic Cabernet Sauvignon aromatics reveal blackcurrant and black cherry at the forefront, complemented by savoury notes of black olives, green capsicum and mint. Subtle vanilla and spice complexity emerge from the wine's time in French and American oak barrels, creating an inviting and layered bouquet.
Palate
Everything you want from a Cabernet Sauvignon. Blackcurrant and black cherry flavours dominate, with a warmth of black olives, green capsicum and mint adding complexity. The oak maturation has produced a silky palate with well-integrated tannins and excellent structure. Ready to drink now, but will mature well and produce one of the best Cabernet Sauvignons from this vineyard to date.
